Does preset panel 16 work with latching preset keys?

Hi there,

as I can figure out from earlier posts, at least the preset 24 board supports latching preset keys with correct firmware or jumper settings, but as it seems only preset panel 16 is for sale in the shop at the moment I was wondering if this works the same way?

Also, I understand that with momentary switches, presets are stored by pressing keys for > 2 seconds, but how are they stored with latching keys?
