Hi all,
within the HX3 Editor I see "Busbar note offset" (#1288-1302). Is it perhaps a timing variable that mimics the uneven contact of each key with the relevant busbar, like in the Hammond?
Could please anybody explain me how this is done with HX3? E.g. if it does use key velocity for overall timing etc...?
(this was a suggestion I gave years ago to Guido Scognamiglio for his VB3, so that the whole 9-contact closing time is inversely proportional to the key velocity).
Does it exist any example parameter about it, or should I experiment?
Thanks!
Luca

Re: Busbar function
No, the number represents the first generator note for lowest C key used for a particular busbar, i.e. 0 for 16', 12 for 8' and so on.
Contact timing is evaluated from key velocity and contact damping parameter. Slower key stroke yields shorter key click as on original.
