How many Mag Custom Organs users in this Forum ?

Hi Ramon,

I own a MAG UC-1 since a year. I am quit happy with it. Sound is equal to my selfmade HX-3 with MK2 Board. The only thing I have to critisize is the mechanical rattling of the drawbars.

Hi Ramon,

you can handle the MAG just like any other HX3. Be sure to download the correct file (flash_organMag.zip) from the repository, if you plan to update the firmware or the FGPA. HX3_remote could be used as usual.

Hallo meinne Herren,

Hatte noch nie eine MAG unter den Fingern.
Ich habe ein paar Fragen zur Qualität der Bedienkomponenten.
Im Forum wurde die Qualität der Drawbars bemängelt. Ist das was dran?
Weiß jemand, wer die herstellt.
Was sind das für Schalter für Percussion, etc.?
Schalten die weich?
Drehschalter für Chorus?
Wie wird das HX3-Bedienpanel angeschlossen?

Farbe: Also das geht überhaupt nicht. Dieses komische blau. Hat das irgendeinen tiefen Sinn?

Dass die Orgel 4 Drawbarssätze hat, ist super. Auch das B3-Layout passt.
Preis finde ich etwas heftig.

Mich würde mal interessieren, wieviele davon verkauft wurden.
Die Teile waren ja lange nicht lieferbar.

Vielleicht weiß jemand was.

zu deinen Fragen: die Qualität der Drawbars ist schon ok. Leider neigen sie zu einem leisen mechanischen Rasseln, das man aber bei "normaler" Lautstärke schon nicht mehr wahrnimmt. Die Rockerswitches für Percussion in C/V schalten butterweich, ebenso wie der V/C Drehschalter. Die Farbe der Seitenteile kannst Du frei wählen ! Ein HX3-Bedienpanel (Display) ist (wie bei Original auch) nicht vorgesehen. Dafür gibt es ja HX3 Remote.

I am an newby here in this Forum.
Ordered my MAG P2 for November.

I only can confirm that Max is a great guy.
Reliable and always prepared to give you the piece of advice you need.

Being 16 i learned on an A100.
So the design of the p2 was a convincing ride back in the past.
Sound is incredible anyway.

Hallo meine Herren,

Mag oder Uhl? Das ist die Frage.
Gibt es denn Vorteile von Mag zu Uhl? Bei der Mag sehe ich die zweiten Zugriegelsätze als Vorteil.
Allerdings fehlt mir das Bedienteil (Menü-Panel) der HX3.
Der eingebaute MiniVent in der Mag ist eine schöne Sache. Besser finde ich Vent2.
Wahrscheinlich sind es die subjektiven Dinge, die einen wohin bewegen.
