fatarscan lowest octave

Hi

I am not sure what I am doing wrong :
I have a HX3 mk2 , just got the fatarscan, and two fatar 61 keybeds - the lowest and second lowest octave products the same Sound/frequency og I am using eg. only 16"
Any suggestions ?

This is the default and is the classic Hammond Foldback designed originally to compensate for the fact that as the Hammond developed they got rid of some of the Tonewheels. The 8' drawbar continues down to the last note on the keyboard but the 16' 'folds back' on itself and repeats the previous octave down to the lowest note. This give the impression (when the 16 and 8 drawbars are operating together) of a continuous downward bass progression. In the HX3 there is a parameter where you can change this and remove the Foldback (or reduce the effect). You'll then hear the 16' sound all the way down (though it does get very deep and may not always be useful).

I just thought for a moment that there was something wrong.
After I made my post, I also noticed the same with the top octave, when using the 1´.
But now I am happy, continuing building.
