I got the XB2 retrofit kit and installed it. It fires up (the led on the boards lights up) BUT I get no sound and there's nothing showing on the LCD (apart from that it lights up). I probably have to specify the question, but what did I do wrong?
Cheers

Re: Installation problem
Dear DrStefan,
it is very difficult to give any advice - all kinds of things could be wrong here because the only thing that seems to be verifiable is that the power supply is o.k. It is impossible to answer to your question "what did I do wrong?". Possibly you didn't do anything wrong, anyway.
What is certainly worrying is that the display is not showing anything .... that would point to a catastrophic situation somewhere in the processing or administration.
In your position I would double and triple check all connections and also ask somebody else with a bit of insight to check. It might be a idea to unplug everything on the HX3 board except the power supply and the display just to see whether at least some communication on the corresponding bus is happening.
Sorry for offering merely such limited help.
Kind regards,
Tilmann

Re: Installation problem
Thanks,
I fully understand my question was way too fuzzy, but I didn't really know how to phrase a good question.
I really appreciate your advice, I will try your suggestion and see what happens. But, the connections seems ok (but I'll unplug everything and I will check the connections again) and the power supply seems ok, maybe it's something wrong with the display itself? I get the backlight but no info is showing.
I'll get back with the results.
Thanks!
Stefan
