Settings not stored

Hi, I need some help with my HX3.5 midi module. Recently bought it new, and still a bit struggling with the many many parameters. Problem 1: not all the settings I change are stored. For instance the tapering setting is not stored. After new start up always on taper 1 (1955).
Problem 2: the 4 percussion knobs / lights are always OFF after startup. The same with Reverb. I tried to alter the settings in HX35 manager without succes.
What am I doing wrong??
