All scan drivers: Bug in buffer management and system realtime interpreter fixed which leaded to "hangig" notes when controlled by entertainer keyboards with heavy MIDI SysEx and Realtime data traffic

Firmware: Common Presets recall by MIDI Bank Select LSB (CC #20, 32dez.)

New scan drivers should also work on firmware #5.4xx.

Updated to this yesterday (11/18/2019 SCAN # XX.22, BETA) but there's a problem with midi channel 2 (whether using Input 2 or not). No audio is output from Midi Channel 2 inputs. If I power off the HX3 then restart I get audio for 10 - 20 secs then it disappears again. Midi-monitor shows notes etc. being sent on channel ok.

Everything on Midi Channel 1 is fine.

I'll reload the update again and see what happens but maybe this is a bug? Hoping for a quick fix as I'm gigging on Friday!

Hello Paul,

pls check in Update/Finalize Panel if your licenses are OK. Lower manual (MIDI CH 2) will not sound whithout organ license. In case you lost your organ license, enter serial number on

Enter numbers given on web page in Update/Finalize Panel fields and click on "Send New Licence/Name".

Thanks Carston - this fixed the issue. Don't know why the license disappeared but I didn't notice until you pointed me in the right direction.

I can now try and get the Preset changes to work from the reverse keys on my XK3 now that you've fixed that. How exactly do I set an 'overall preset'? I don't see any tab for that in the editor. I can make a Preset and save it to a number in the editor but I can never select it from the keyboard. Maybe I'm missing a final step? I'll keep trying :-)

Hi Carsten,
Help! Upgrading to this firmware has caused an error and now all MIDI traffic (including over USB) is stopped.
Menu system seems to be working but there is no way to connect to HX editor, I assume somehow it's stuck in DFU update mode. Is there any way to restore or do I need FTDI cable?

For anyone stuck with the same issue above, using FTDI cable to perform a full update was the solution.
