You should download the Firmware update file for your HX3 version, which is available from the HX3 update page from Keyboardpartner [url]http://updates.keyboardpartner.de/Files/index.php[/url]

Look at either the Current Firmware or Firmware Archive directory that fits your HX3 version and installed firmware release, and download the respective .zip file for that release. Then unpack it on your computer and you will find an HX3 Manager .exe file or, for the very old versions and firmware releases, a file called hx3-remote.exe.

You can also get to this section from the Support & Download section of the keyboardparter web page (plus many other useful information), for the firmware files just sroll down to Updates/Downloads and you will be directed to the same place: [url]https://shop.keyboardpartner.de/en/c/support-and-download[/url]

Where in gods name does one download this software?!

I'm quite good with computers, and I can't for the life of me find this .exe file.... please please help.

You may need to run HX3 manager in a virtual machine with Windows on your Macbook Air, the best way is using Parallels Desktop for this
