Der HX 3 hatt Nord CC Set on board.
Einfach Nord mal testen ^welche CC Commands jeweils gesendet werden und dann
entsprechend am HX 3 dann einrichten

Anyway, do you guys know what the Nord sends (resp. expects) along with vibrato knob and percussion changes? Nord documentation is somewhat sparse on that. CC numbers are given, but values are missing. What value for V1 to C3? What value for percussion tabs etc? Inverted or not?
Hi, old thread - I know … but I am considering hooking a HX3 up to my Nord Stage 3 to use the HX3 engine instead of the Nord Hammond simulation, therefore would like to know if the Nord MIDI CC set for the HX3 is responding to all of Nord’s controls like Drawbars, Vibrato and Chorus buttons, Percussion buttons, Leslie control buttons and also half moon switch (original Nord half moon switch or Hammond CU-1) connected to the Nord?

Thanks HappyFreddy for responding to my query.

It looks as though I need a two CC solution to do this. First I change the first CC from run to stop to STOP the rotor.

But to go to slow or fast, I need to change first CC from Stop to RUN, then the second CC for Slow/Fast will be in effect.

This will probably not really work for performing, but I guess it is a work around for now.

Sound right?

Nordym

The RUN - STOP BUTTON has an OWN CC Controller separate from Fast Slow
The CC VAlues SLOW= 0 .... STOP = 64 .... FAST = 127 does not run !!!
The separate CC Controller STOP is implemented ( see listing )

Hi
The using of the leslie switch Slow - Fast is in HX 3 implemented to the button
SLOW - FAST. The function STOP on other side is implemented to the button
RUN - STOP.
That means that SLOW - FAST is only possible when the Button RUN is switched to ON = RUN.
If the button RUN is turned OFF no function of the switch FAST - SLOW will happen.

On hardware side to realize the function SLOW - STOP - FAST it is needed to use
a two way switch with position MIDDLE
To realize the function RUN - STOP one contact half of double switch must be must be connected in each
of positions SLOW and FAST but not connected in middle position.
The other half of this switch is only connected in position FAST and open in position SLOW.

To realize this with CC controls You must use the relevant CC Control for the button RUN-STOP to realize
the function STOP.
But I don´t know if there is such CC control implemented for function STOP

Hi Nordym,

How successfull have you been in using HX3 with your Nord C1? it would be nice if you could make your CC-configuration availalble.

Hi Nordym,

so actually it seems no one is using it. I use the B4D controller, which is controlling HX3 via MIDI. But the settings are fixed by Native Instruments, so i propose to check out the B4II MIDI behaviour and overtake it to your Nord keyboard.

Best regards

Balou
