HX3 Expander power supply

Hello all,
I'm writing from Boston, MA. I have just received my new HX3 Expander Plexi today and am really looking forward to using it.
But I now realize that the power adapters I have at home may not be compatible with the specifications listed on the website:

US style, local, "input 117 to 240V, output rating 9V / 800mA, plus on center".

The back of the HX3 Expander module, however, says "DC IN 9-12 V".

Is there any flexibility with the power adapter voltage and/or ma level with the HX3 expander or do I need to match 9V / 800 ma exactly?

I have 12V, 2.08 amp, 12v 1000ma, and a few others.
I may have to wait a few days to purchase a 9V one at my local music or electronics shop as we have a major snowstorm arriving tonight and all travel on the roads is banned until further notice.

Regards,
Dave Osoff

12V with > 800mA are OK, 1000 ma 2amp are more as 800 that is OK.

by the snowstorm, Could you hope that you don't lost the power.

hi
Nevertheless what Power supply will be used.
If the extern DC Power supply on HX 3 is used
REGARD THE POLARITY OF USED POWERSUPPLY CONNECTOR

The minimum current to supply is 800mA , so if a 1000mA type is used it´s ok
Important:
If any extern DC Power is used the regulator IC 7805 MUST BE COOLED by metal plate like the backside of expander housing !!!
This regulator chip 7805 needs 3 volts itself to operate correctly so the DC voltage of 9 Volt will be optimal and best chose
The more input voltage the more heat will be produced and must be cooled by metal plate.
