HX3 Remote Application not transferring settings

I can't get the HX3 Remote Application to successfully transfer changes in the "MIDI Custom CC" to my HX3 expander module. I know the remote application is connected to my expander, because I can change values in the "Organ" tab, which show up on the LCD display of the expander. I am running the program on Windows 7. I have tried "Write Params" with and without "EEPROM Write" enabled. I also have tried "Write Basics" with expander mode enabled. Does anyone know how to get this to work properly?

I am trying to use a Korg nanoKONTROL2 connected to to a Kenton MIDI USB Host to access presets and other settings. So far, I have only been able to use it for settings that already have MIDI CC's programmed by default (such as drawbars and pedal sustain). This is why I need the MIDI Custom CC to work. Also, I can't seem to get the pedal 5 1/3 drawbar to work by CC, despite the fact that it is already programmed into the default settings (CC 34).

Thank you,
Michael

Nevermind! I didn't realize that I had to have the expander itself on the "MIDI CC set: Custom CC" setting. It works now.

@PortlandMike

okay when it works now.
You asked about 5 1/3 Drawbar in pedal.
Please realize in a real Hammond B 3 there is no hardware drawbar to handle, only 16 and 8 foot.
Okay, in intern hardware of keycontacts in a Hammond there are 5 harmonics added to the two Drawbars 16 and 8.
In Hoax we have implemented it same way ... but with a extra sustain drawbar too for realizing a stringbass function.
So You have 3 drawbars for pedal : 16 - 8 - SUSTAIN
Therfore the pedal is polyfonic playable ..... BUT !! Sustain only appears on latest hitted key

Thank you for the clarification, that makes sense.
