midi out and expression pedal

on my HX3.5 powered organ we also use it as a master board for a Yamaha MODX . we need to decouple it from the organ's expression
pedal ( an FC-7 ) can this be done ? i can't find the parameter for this . my HX3.4 organ work differently with midi -out , the MODX is
decoupled from the FC-7 . definitely prefer this , especially with pads. mixing some organ with the pedal is a nice effect . currently
using 5.735
