hi,
first chose is left switch half for the function of RING :
Connect pin 1 and 3 together. solder them to the RING
Pin 4 is soldered to GND = shaft
second chose is right switch half for function of PIN
solder pin 5 to GND = shaft
either pin 6 or 8 soldered to PIN
Mount the switch in that way that the slow function is at left side when switched
If not just turn the switch or solder the pin to the other pin 6 or 8.

Re: Half-Moon Leslie switch ??
To understand this halfmoon switch thing for HX3:
T, R, S not connected is STOP
R connected to the ground or sleeve is RUN(slow)
so I inserted a TRS cable in the footswitch input of the HX3 and shorted the ground to the ring and indeed the rotary start to run...but when I released it , no connection between T, R, S it was still in the run mode, and only when I did connect the ring to sleeve again, than stopped...maybe I have to do some global setup to my unit to listen to no connection between T, R, S?
and than kind of same with FAST
T. R, S connected is Fast, right?
so I connected the tip ring and sleeve, and rotary started run fast, than release the connections, tip ring and sleeve no connection between each other and the unit remained on Fast....what I am doing wrong? Or is my unit faulty?
If someone can help, please do so. Thank you in advance!

HI
In this case the switches of Leslie are defined as
PUSH BUTTONS
They must be defined as real SWITCHES

Hi!
This is good news for me. I could not find this settings in the unit itself. Where can I change this leslie related setup?
Thank you!

Re: Half-Moon Leslie switch ??
HI everyone!
Just for those who are struggling to make a halfmoon switch for HX3.5 as I was...you need a double 3 way guitar switch, you have the schematic here in this topic, posted by Happyfredy and the one more information that in my case was missing it is that you have to enable latching mode in the editor, activate bit 0 in parameter #1502(thanks for this information to Christian from keyboardpartner)...mine was not activated by default, it was in a kind of toggle mode that is why I got the chaotic changes with the switch.
Hope that this will help others in my situation.
All the best!
