Hello ,
I have an XB2 / HX3 (FW 4.25) and want to know if i can add a real 6 position switch to the HX3 mainboard on connector PL5.
In this way the control over the vibrato's is a lot easier to do.
I know the kit is a special version, but the mainboard is basiccally a HX3 MK4.
Thanks,
Peter

Re: XB2 HX3 real vibrato switch
Hello,
unfortunately not, as the port is not polled by the XB2 version firmware.

Re: XB2 HX3 real vibrato switch
Aha,
and it is also not possible to change this by modifying a parameter, using the remote software?
best regards,
Peter

Re: XB2 HX3 real vibrato switch
The XB2 HX 3 version is a special version of HX 3 and can´t be compared with normal HX 3 .
If You want to connect the vib switch You must forget all the stuff of XB 2 version. Disconnect all the
XB 2 stuff and buildt the HX 3 up as a normal HX 3 with FATAR keys etc

Re: XB2 HX3 real vibrato switch
OK, clear.
In order to create something like a B3 vibrato switch, I could use the midi interface, and send the correct values on CC's 73 and 74, using a controller, e.g. an arduino with a MIDI library.
Correct?
This will not interfere with the speciality of the XB2 inplementation?
Thanks and best regards,
Peter
