hi
I have posted it in another Thread once before............

A original B 3, A 100 , C 3 etc has 8 key switches for each pedal key

these contacts are mixed to the two drawbars 16 and 8 foot

In same matter it is realized in HX3
So You never can hear a clean 16 or 8 foot drawbar either at a real Hammond or at HX3

As only a couple of Hammonds had more than two drawbars for the pedals (e.g. H100) I was surprised that the HX3 included a 5 1/3 option on the expander itself. The default seems to be around 50% so you could try turning it off on the module or via the editor. I play mine through a real Leslie and the bass sound is virtually identical to my B3. I noticed that the 5 1/3 is more prominent when used with the 8' drawbar. Overtones on the 16' are more noticeable in the lowest octave.

On the Hx-3 Expander, firmware 3.83, I've just noticed that the 16' Pedal Drawbar has either 5 1/3' or 8' mixed in with it.

Can we get this sorted out please.

Thanks,

Nordym
