we found a hardware bug responsible for the non-working secondary MIDI input.
This is a PCB design error, so you have to do the following:
Click on Pic to get it in greater view
Interrupt/cut PCB track marked violet in picture at red arrow tip position.
Be careful not to damage nearby tracks.
Solder a thin wire from MIDI IN jack to open header pad #3 as shown in picture (green wire).
